Stephen Shore - Landscape - Research

Stephen Shore is an American photographer known for his images of banal scenes and objects in the United States, and for his pioneering use of colour in art photography.

I really love this photo, I love the fact he got a picture of a landscape in a landscape and both look very barren  and in the middle of now where. I Suppose the feeling this photo gives me is I think its a bit comical and makes me give a little giggle when I first looked at it and then I want to move on quickly but it did get my attention.

I like this as the tree looks out of place and also looks dead. all the concrete around it and the buildings but when you look close there looks like a plaque so the tree must be special and that's why it has been left standing but now leaves you wondering why is it special.

 I think this is great he took a picture of a sunset with no sun in it and I think its a great idea and makes it look like Stephen Shore has a sense of humour, This photo makes me smile even though there is not much to see on this picture I feel it has that twist to it its not just a sign.
